More Labor Inspections Are Planned for the Repse

Post by pujamonidas99 »

The ministry of labor would have contemplated a second batch of labor inspections of companies that have registered as specialized service provider companies (repse), as a result of the authority having detected irregularities in some registries. This is what lofton's labor law partner, lic. Erik lozano, foresees, since from his perspective, the stps already has an extensive database and the registry of many companies, so now, the logical thing to do would be to to the verification stage of what was declared by the companies. The stps has already carried out a first batch of repse labor inspections the firm's specialist in labor matters indicated that the stp had already carried out a first stage of compliance review , focused on very specific companies that it considered as "red flags" at the end of 2021.

At that time, the head of the stps decent work unit, alejandro salafranca, pointed out that the declarations made by companies for the repse registration are of a declaratory nature, that is, in good faith of the taxpayers and companies and the stps. You would have to verify that the information provided was valid. With repse, the Industry Email List stps, sat, and imss are better coordinated in lofton, a few days ago we carried out an informative webinar on the repse registry, where the participants were able to express their doubts about the causes for refusal to register, we provided a list of good practices and the strategies prepared by our specialists.

During the webinar a very important factor was discussed, which contributes to the forecast that the stps will have a second round of labor inspections: under the taxation scheme and new fiscal obligations of repse, both the stps, the imss, infonavit and sat have greater coordination between dependencies. The crossing of information has been substantially improved and as a result of this many inconsistencies arise that the authority must clarify with the companies. A second stage of repse labor inspections seems imminent although our specialists point out that this second stage of labor inspections for repse may be the same as the previous one, to very specific companies that probably use the repse scheme to evade employer and tax responsibilities.
